International Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering is a new journal providing a significant publication for knowledge transfer in thermal and surface processing across the global market place. Recognising the increasing requirement for an improved understanding of existing and emerging heat treatment and surface engineering processes, the new journal fills an important gap in the communication of efficient industry practice. The journal is unique in bringing together high quality content from around the world, using four professional organisations based in Europe and China:
IHTSE will be issued on a quarterly basis and will provide content across a broad spectrum of topics ranging from science and engineering, analysis and testing, process development and business related issues. This content will be supported with industry, conference and event news, together with supplier and new product information. The journal will be available in print and online. Special arrangements have been made with the UK Wolfson Heat Treatment Institute to incorporate and make available to subscribers the previous content of the internationally recognised title Heat Treatment of Metals.
